Call of Duty XP Los Angeles 2011

Activision will host the first 2 day video game conference for fans of Call of Duty.  The convention will be focused around the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and allow fans to play paintball, try out MW3 3 months before it is released, compete in tournaments for prizes, and buy lunch from a replicated Burger Town.

The event will be held September 2-3, 2011 in an undisclosed location in Los Angeles.

Tickets to the event will cost $150 with around 6,000 attendees expected.

Hit the jump for images of the maps players will be able to paintball with.

Scrapyard will be built and allow players to experience paintball matches in a map that was part of
Modern Warfare 2.

The Pit is the training map of the game and will give players a time trial to show off their aiming and accuracy.

"Gear up and clock your best time in the Pit, for real. This iconic moment from Modern Warfare® 2 comes to life as you run and shoot to win prizes and bragging rights."

Burger Town is a fast food joint where hungry attendees can purchase their burgers (pricing for meals have not been announced).

Attendees will also be able to attend panels and discussions and each day will end with a AAA act.
